Research Support Administrator – this opportunity is only available to current employees of the University. The multi award-winning University of Cumbria is a wonderful blend of old and new, founded on a rich educational history with institutions dating back more than 150 years. Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.

This 0.6FTE post holder will support the administration of a recently funded NIHR research grant called the Mental Health Leaders Award aimed at building capacity and capability around applied mental health research to address inequalities with and for local communities and people. You will provide general administrative support to the mental health team and its engagement with partners for the duration of this award.

We offer a comprehensive set of staff benefits which includes a competitive salary, a 35 hour full-time working week (pro rata), 33 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata), hybrid working in line with business need, and an excellent pension scheme with 8% employer contribution.
