About this role
Join our highly professional, committed and student‑focused team at the Chichester campus. As a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law, Business and Psychology you will contribute to teaching, quality‑assurance compliance, partnership working, research and income generation in the Law Department, with a focus on the delivery and development of legal practice‑based learning.
About you
We are looking for someone who uses professional experience to inspire and support students entering the legal profession. The appointed postholder will have a sound understanding of law and the ability to teach across a range of modules. The role will include developing content to shape the delivery of the Law programmes, and we are looking for a candidate with knowledge of the SQE route and strong professional legal skills. Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and/or research to support high‑quality learning and teaching; experience of using VLEs and technologies to enhance learning, assessment and feedback to students.
About the team
You will work within a small academic team and as part of the wider school and faculty. You must demonstrate the ability to work effectively and positively within a team, as well as with the broader university community.
