Department: Research and Innovation
Full-time: 37 hours per week
Temporary for up to 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave
Salary: £28,778 to £31,236 per annum
About this role The post holder will provide coordination and administrative support to the Director of Research and Innovation and the Research Office Team in implementing the University’s Strategic Plan with regard to priorities in research and innovation.
The post holder will focus on providing administrative support for the Research Ethics Committee and its approvals sub-groups, the Research Excellence Framework (REF), Researcher Development including income generation and Research Governance (the Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange Committee, the REF Project Team and its Equality and Diversity Subgroup, and the Professors’ and Readers’ Forum).
About you You will have experience of administrative work in a busy, customer-focused environment. You will be professional and proactive and able to work as a key part of a small team. IT literate, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands.
