About this role
Join our highly professional, committed and student focused academic community based at the Bognor Regis campus. The Education and Teacher Education provision at the University of Chichester consists of a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
About you
The appointed postholder will have a sound understanding of best practice in primary education, as well as a broader understanding of education. An ability to teach across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes would be preferable. An all-round knowledge of the primary curriculum is therefore needed, with a willingness to develop further in any designated subject area. The role will include developing and implementing modules on our Education and Teacher Education programmes to ensure a high-quality student experience.
Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and/or research, including Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students.

You will work within the team to strengthen the distinctiveness of the University’s student experience as high-quality, personalised, accessible and aspirational. You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
