Part Time: 14.8 hours per week (0.4 fte)
Salary: £28,778 to £31,236 per annum pro rata, £11,511 to £12,494 per annum
About this role The Global Mobility & Funding Coordinator will coordinate and deliver specialist administrative and operational processes relating to the University’s international mobility programmes, international student funding and international student experience. Working as part of the Careers & Employability team, the post holder will take day-to-day responsibility for the administration of US Federal Loans and private US student loans, Turing Scheme and, from 2027, Erasmus+.
The post holder will manage detailed student funding processes from application through to payment and completion, including undertaking grant and loan calculations, preparing Cost of Attendance documentation, maintaining and updating information on external systems, monitoring student eligibility and documentation, coordinating payments with Finance, maintaining accurate financial records and preparing evidence for audit and compliance requirements.
The role requires the post holder to interpret and apply established programme requirements, identify discrepancies or issues, exercise judgement in resolving administrative cases within the remit of the role, and escalation complex or exceptional cases where appropriate.
About you You will have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people from different cultural and international backgrounds. You will also have the ability to work accurately and confidently with numerical information to undertake grants and loans calculations and checks. The successful applicant will be well organised with a commitment to a high standard of customer service.
