About this role
We are looking for a part time Finance Business Partner to join our small, dedicated finance team. You will have the opportunity to support budget owners in decision making with financial and other business information. Responsibilities include the production of monthly management accounts, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts as well as more specific reporting tailored to your assigned business area. You will aim to deliver continuous improvement in financial performance aligned with the academic mission of the University.
About you
Applicants must have an enthusiastic and positive approach to work responding to individual business needs, demonstrable interpersonal skills that enable them to liaise and build relationships with staff at all levels, including senior managers. A track record of providing accurate and timely financial information to budget holders, attention to detail and first-rate analytical skills is essential. Good finance business partnering and management accounting experience is also essential, and the successful applicant will ideally be a qualified accountant, or making significant progress towards completing their studies.
