The Events Assistant supports the planning, development and delivery of high‑profile, high‑quality internal and external events that enhance the University’s reputation and support student recruitment. The postholder manages logistics, communications and on‑the‑day operations for a wide range of events, ensuring a smooth, professional and welcoming experience for all attendees. There is also a requirement to support and attend University‑wide external events, including some evenings and weekend work.

You will have strong organisational skills with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate with and present to a variety of audiences. You will be committed to providing high levels of customer service and have experience of coordinating or assisting at events in a professional environment.
