About this role:
Join our highly professional, committed and student-focused Musical Theatre Team. We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Associate Lecturer to support Musical Theatre rehearsal, performance and learning activities through musical coaching, ensemble and principal development, piano‑led rehearsal accompaniment and performance preparation. The post holder will develop students' musical and performance skills within rehearsal, teaching and production settings, contribute to the assessment of practical work, and support teaching and learning activities across Musical Theatre programmes as required.
About you:
The appointed postholder will have an in‑depth knowledge of Musical Theatre repertoire, vocal coaching, musicianship and performance preparation. You must have excellent piano accompaniment and sight‑reading skills with the ability to support rehearsals, coach performers and work effectively from vocal scores. Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical/professional experience and/or experience of teaching in higher education, conservatoire or vocational setting and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students.
