Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality acting training within Musical Theatre programmes.
- Teach, assess and provide academic support, developing students' technical, creative and performance skills.
- Deliver teaching sessions according to the following timetable:
- Semester 1 – Tuesday 4.00‑5.30, Wednesday 8.30‑11.30, Friday 12.00‑1.30
- Semester 2 – Tuesday 4.30‑7.30, Wednesday 4.30‑7.30
- Contribute to programme delivery and maintain currency with contemporary practice in acting and Musical Theatre.
Qualifications and Experience
- In‑depth knowledge of acting techniques, pedagogies and contemporary actor‑training practices relevant to Musical Theatre.
- Knowledge of Stanislavski‑based approaches, realism, naturalism, improvisation, movement, character development, rehearsal processes and directing.
- Experience developing performance skills and providing constructive feedback to students or performers in educational and/or professional settings.
- Practical or professional experience and/or experience teaching in higher education, conservatoire or vocational settings.
- Ability to use technologies to enhance learning, assessment and feedback.
