About this role
Join our highly professional, committed and student focused academic team, based at the Chichester campus. The postholder will contribute to the delivery of the BA (Hons) Acting including screen acting classes to level 5 acting students. The successful candidate(s) will have a strong background and experience in Screen Acting and/or actor training for screen.
About you
The appointed postholder will have extensive recent knowledge of teaching for film and camera specific acting plus an in-depth understanding of screen acting techniques and theories, with an emphasis towards psychological realism. Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and/or research to support high quality learning and teaching. You will also demonstrate experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students.

You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
