The School of Performing Arts and Conservatoire offers a range of undergraduate degree courses that prepare our students for careers within a variety of performance-based industries. You will be an associate lecturer in film combat/weaponry and acting, with formal qualifications or equivalent significant experience. You will need to understand how the combat aspect of screen work can be used and have a strong understanding of the Health and Safety protocols and requirements when teaching this very physical discipline. Please note it is crucial that you are able to commit to the entire number of hours and please be aware that this is not a self-employed role.
About the team: You will work within the team to strengthen the distinctiveness of the University’s student experience as high‑quality, personalised, accessible and aspirational. You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, with excellent teaching methods and the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student‑centred, inclusive and flexible.
