Responsibilities
- You will work closely with the Head of Financial Control to provide a high-quality accounting service and robust financial control, ensuring the University meets its statutory obligations and objectives in the key areas of financial accounting, audit and tax compliance and treasury management.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of the importance of accurate and timely processing of financial data.
- Working knowledge of VAT.
- Experience of balance-sheet, control-account reconciliations and accounting systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to explain accounting concepts to non-financial audiences.
