Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Communications

Part-time: 30 hours per week

Temporary contract for up to 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave

About this role

The Admissions Team are looking for a temporary part time Admissions Assistant to act as a point of contact for enquirers, applicants and staff in relation to the University’s courses, admissions processes and requirements.

About you

With a customer-centred approach and a positive and helpful attitude, you will be involved throughout the application process which means dealing with queries, processing invites to interviews and making decisions on applications. Excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills are essential, with proven experience of working to tight deadlines.

With excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, you will liaise with admissions tutors and other University staff to develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the University’s portfolio of courses and entry requirements.

You’ll be joining a highly professional, committed and student focused community and work within a small, friendly and flexible team. Admissions sits within the wider Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Communications team based on the Bishop Otter Campus, Chichester.
