The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Student Money Adviser (30 hours per week) to join the University of Chester’s Student Services department.
Our ‘Your Money’ Financial Support service provides a central place for information, advice and guidance about key financial areas which can impact a student’s university experience.
As a Student Money Adviser You Will Join a Busy Student Facing Team To Support With a Variety Of Money Related Areas
- Financial Hardship
- Funding
- Money Management skills
- Signposting to internal and external services
You will need to be calm and confident, with strong communication skills, as the support we provide can range from advising on effective money management tools through to more complex issues which require immediate support.
This role would particularly suit you if you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and support, and have experience in:
- Working in a busy financial support environment e.g. financial services, advice and guidance
- Investigating and managing complex enquiries from initial contact through to resolution or referral
