The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society is seeking to appoint a Student Engagement and Support Officer. The key duties and responsibilities of the role include;

  • Supporting the Student Engagement and Support Senior Officer with the administration of processes, and projects to enhance the student experience within the faculty and wider University.
  • Providing administrative support including data inputting, checking and collating missing data, induction activity, in-person and online student enquiries, referrals to central support services, PAT processes, attendance monitoring, Student Voice, student surveys, referrals and sign-posting to Student Services, careers and employability support, monitoring and tracking interaction with specific groups of students, and effective links with Chester Students’ Union.
  • The use of Excel to sort and maintain student data on the database systems and ensure accurate management information reporting and analysis.

You will have a good standard of education with at least A Level’s or equivalent and substantial experience of working within an administrative role. You will also have a good understanding of student engagement and student experience initiatives and activities.

This demanding role requires ICT proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, good communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

This is a student-facing role that requires on-site working.
