Senior Lecturer

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual who will be involved in the delivery of pre and post registration nurse education as a member of the academic team at the University Centre Birkenhead. We are looking for a candidate who is a registered adult nurse and who holds a relevant first and higher degree (or higher degree close to completion). You should be passionate about nurse education, with excellent clinical and communication skills. Previous experience of teaching and or curriculum development in higher education is essential and experience of supporting international learners is desirable. The successful candidate should have or be willing to work towards PGCE and or HEA membership. The successful applicant will have knowledge of current professional and academic requirements of higher education nursing programmes and will contribute to academic and research development within the Faculty.
