The University of Chester is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking MIS Manager to join our Management Information Systems team within Human Resources.

In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the delivery of high-quality, strategically aligned HR systems and data services. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of our HR technology—enhancing system capabilities, implementing impactful improvements, and leading digital and value-added changes. Your expertise in reporting, HR analytics, and statutory compliance will support data-driven decision-making across the University.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience in a systems leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of HR data governance, statutory reporting requirements and GDPR compliance.
  • Experience in leading teams or project-based work, with a focus on process improvement and digital transformation.
  • A passion for using data to drive people-focused insights and organisational success.
