Are you a qualified Counsellor and seeking to educate and train students in counselling? Social and Political Sciences at University of Chester invites applications for Visiting Lecturers to support our MA Clinical Counselling students.
About Role
We are seeking two Visiting Lecturers. Visiting Lecturers will provide an engaging learning environment for postgraduate students, delivering high-quality teaching and assessment support in areas such as triads, group practice and personal development. As a guide, hours required are 2.5 hours per week on a Thursday or a Friday, and one weekend to assist with the facilitation of an experiential weekend (dates for weekend work available via request). Term time weeks between Sep 2026-June 2027.
About You
- A First Degree.
- A Masters in Clinical Counselling or a closely related field.
- Expertise to facilitate either a triad or a practice group, and a personal development group.
- A commitment to excellence in teaching and student support.
- Experience of Counselling Practice.
- BACP membership.
