This is an exciting opportunity to play a lead role in the University of Chester's implementation of a new Student Management System, part of a wider MyChester Project which will transform our use of technology and data to enhance the student experience and make processes for staff more streamlined and efficient.
The successful candidate will be part of the MyChester Project Team, working with colleagues from across the whole university on a wide range of project workstreams. They will also manage a small team of people working on the same project, with the aim of ensuring a seamless transition to the new system and, working with the MyChester Business Lead, ensuring we fully realise the potential benefits.
In order to succeed in this role you will need:
- Substantial experience of the management and development of complex databases, preferably in a Higher Education setting.
- Experience of analysing and improving business processes, particularly in how they align with IT systems.
- The ability to prioritise a varied and demanding workload, work to tight and conflicting deadlines, and lead and inspire others to provide excellent customer service.
