We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about securing and enhancing the quality of higher education. The Assistant Quality Manager will join an established Academic Portfolio Team based at the Exton Park campus near Chester city centre. You will play a key role in managing and supporting the University’s academic partnerships in the UK and overseas.
Responsibilities
- Ensure collaborative and transnational education (TNE) partnerships deliver a high‑quality experience for students.
- Evaluate new partnership proposals, coordinate approval and review processes, and oversee the ongoing quality and performance of existing partners.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the University at meetings, events, and approval visits.
- Coordinate the work of other team members and manage occasional travel within the UK and abroad.
- Maintain the quality, risk‑management, and compliance of academic partnerships.
Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of quality assurance and risk management principles.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with a focus on problem‑solving.
- Ability to manage and communicate complex information and use judgment in applying policy and regulation.
- Proactive, detail‑focused, and motivated to shape and strengthen the University’s academic partnerships.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with a mixture of on‑site and working from home.
