Lecturer in Photography

0.4FTE – Fixed Term until 31st July 2026

£39,906 – £43,482 per annum pro rata

Art, Design, & Innovation is a vibrant and established element of the University of Chester, providing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a range of visual arts and design disciplines based at the Creative Campus Kingsway in Chester.

We are looking to appoint a flexible, organised and innovative individual to teach on our BA Photography Course. We are keen to hear from applicants who have expertise in both digital and analogue photography, an interest and experience of different camera (film) formats, as well as a good knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, and additionally bookmaking and moving image.

As a lecturer, you will bring your passion for your practice to deliver high-quality teaching at the undergraduate level. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team to promote a creative and supportive environment for both colleagues and students.
