We seek to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science to join our dynamic team of academics and help shape the future of our computing programmes. We are especially keen to hear from applicants with expertise in areas such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Generative AI, Data-Centric and Responsible AI, or AI for real-world applications (e.g., health, cybersecurity, robotics, or business analytics). Experience deploying AI systems in practice, or working with industry or public-sector partners, would be particularly welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Keep our curriculum at the cutting edge of AI and ensure it meets the needs of employers and future technology leaders.
- Contribute to broader academic work, including curriculum development, research, and knowledge exchange in computer science and AI.
- Participate in interdisciplinary projects, outreach, and external engagement.
Qualifications
- Relevant higher degree in a field such as Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
- Teaching experience and skill in developing innovative learning experiences.
- Support in working towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education or Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA) if not already held.
