Location: Exton Park Campus, University of Chester
Contract Duration: September 2025 – July 2026

The University of Chester operates licensed premises on Exton Park, offering a warm and welcoming space for students and staff. Our venues host a wide variety of events – from relaxed acoustic nights to large-scale club events featuring international artists.
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Bar/Catering Assistants to join our team, providing excellent service to our campus community.
Responsibilities
- Delivering a friendly, efficient, and professional service to all customers
- Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in bar, catering, and storage areas
- Communicating effectively with the Bar Manager, Catering Manager, colleagues, and customers
- Assisting with stock replenishment and bar organisation during busy periods
- Following licensing laws and standard procedures, including refusing service where appropriate
- Supporting the promotion of events via social media (occasionally)
- Assisting in training new colleagues when required
- Ensuring knowledge of drink ingredients, menus, and allergen information
- Adhering to health and safety standards, including safe lifting practices and using hearing protection in noisy environments
