About the Role:
The University is looking at appoint an experienced Senior Project Officer to support a number of UKSPF projects. The successful applicant will work closely with the delivery teams to ensure timely, efficient and accurate project compliance in line with the funder regulations.
The Senior Project Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance across all aspects of the project. This will include monitoring and approving expenditure, to ensure financial UKSPF compliance, work closely with external partners and managing the UKSPF financial claims process and associated systems. The post will work closely with the delivery teams to ensure comprehensive and robust audit trails are in place.
About you:
Experience of working on UKSPF and European Funded Projects will be essential for the successful applicant as well as the ability to work to external deadlines. Education to degree level or equivalent is essential supported by attention to detail, project management skills and experience co-ordinating multi partner projects. The successful applicant will have experience of working with office systems, practices and procedures along with good oral and written communication skills.
Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston and is funded by UKSPF.
