About the role:
The Customer Experience Colleague will be a member of the Ground Floor Team, and act as an ambassador for the University, providing an excellent and engaged first point of contact service for visitors and customers. They will pro-actively engage with internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience through exceptional customer service.
About you:
We are looking for a customer-focused individual with experience in providing excellent service in busy and varied environments. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, engaging effectively with diverse audiences, and competence in handling sensitive and confidential situations. Proficiency in IT systems or database applications for managing information is essential, alongside Front of House or cabin crew experience. A range of GCSEs including English Language and Math (minimum grade C) or appropriate equivalent, or significant experiential learning, is also a must. The role requires an enthusiastic attitude, the ability to take initiative, set priorities, and work independently while thriving under pressure in demanding environments. Candidates should demonstrate empathy and emotional intelligence, remaining calm in difficult situations while ensuring meaningful engagement with guests.
