We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Coordinator to work within our busy Inclusive Support team. You will be required to contribute to developing and maintaining effective and efficient administrative systems and support internal and external disability-related support services.
Duties will include coordinating support for a caseload of students to assisting with broader coordination and delivery of the University\’s internal and external non-medical helper service and responding to customer support queries by telephone, email, or in person, and logging the information in a clear and accurate manner, referring complex support queries to the appropriate professional service.
About you:
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, along with having significant experience of working in an administrative or customer service role. You will also need experience of organising, inputting, and extracting data from a complex computerised student records system.
Knowledge of inclusive practice and disability legislation and policy, along with awareness and understanding of confidentiality are essential for this role.
The postholder will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, or have equivalent experiential learning
