Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Pure Mathematics, working in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics.

Responsibilities

  • Duties include developing and conducting an individual program of research. The successful candidate will usually be associated with one of the departmental research groups and have a Faculty mentor.
  • There may be opportunities for lecturing at Masters level, assisting with student research projects or delivering small-group teaching.
  • You will be expected to plan and manage your own research and administration, with guidance if required. You must be able to communicate material of a technical nature and be able to build internal and external contacts.
  • The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of internationally outstanding research.
