About this Role

Do you love working with children and thrive off seeing them become independent brilliant learners? Then this is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference. We do want people who are resilient, care about children, passionate about education, want to make a difference and who have the humour to find ways through everyday.

The post is a fixed term post until 31st August 2026 with potential for extension, term time only plus one week (39 weeks per year). Full and Part Time roles available SCP 5-6 £25,989 - £26,403 FTE depending on experience EYFS, KS 1 or KS 2.

Responsibilities

  • Understand children.
  • Be kind, thoughtful and courageous.
  • Step outside of their comfort zones.
  • Be willing to learn.
  • Build supportive relationships with adults and children in our community.
  • Be adaptable to a changing educational landscape and support staff through this.
  • Be solution focused and willing to undertake appropriate training to support children with intimate care.
  • Support class teachers in delivering planned activities and managing groups of children.
  • Possess good Literacy and Numeracy skills to support reading, writing and maths.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude towards education and our values through actions and examples.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the community.
