The Role
The University of Cambridge is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Communications Co-ordinator. In this role, you will help to shape and deliver communications that support the priorities of the Estates Division and the wider University. You will play a big part in sharing the great work and successes of the Estates Division, as well as cross-university initiatives and projects delivered by other Divisions in the University\βs Unified Administrative Service (UAS). Using a mix of channels and creative approaches, you will connect with people across the University community and make sure our messages land in the right way. Your work will help engage colleagues and stakeholders across the University, whilst keeping everything aligned with University-wide internal and external communications priorities.
About You
- Experience of working in a communications or public relations role, or as a journalist.
- Experience of creating content for a variety of audiences including digital communications, written features and video.
- Experience of updating websites using a content management system.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal in order to interact with all stakeholders in a positive way.
- Very good written and spoken English and an ability to tailor content to suit a variety of audiences and for different purposes.
- A degree level (preferably with an English or Communications degree) education and/or equivalent professional qualification.
