We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Events Assistant to join our Hospitality Team and support the delivery of a wide range of events across our venues. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences for guests.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, preparation, and delivery of hospitality and catered events, ranging from meetings and conferences to receptions, dinners, and special occasions. Responsibilities will include setting up event spaces, serving food and beverages, liaising with clients and colleagues, and ensuring that all events are delivered to the highest standards of presentation and customer service.
We are looking for an organised and adaptable individual with excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, pay close attention to detail, and remain professional under pressure is essential.
Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or events would be advantageous; however, a genuine passion for customer service and a willingness to learn are equally important. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive hospitality team, helping to deliver outstanding events within a vibrant academic environment.
Please be aware that a Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role (a full EU Driving Licence is acceptable on appointment, but the successful applicant must transfer to a UK Licence prior to confirming a start date).
