The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
This role is a permanent, part‑time position (22 hours per week), requiring a minimum of four working days per week. The post-holder must work Thursdays and Fridays and will be based at Scroope Terrace during the three eight‑week terms.
A Typical Day Could Include:
- Answering student and staff queries, including booking travel for field trips
- Uploading course material or setting up assessments on the VLE (Moodle)
- Liaising with examiners/assessors to ensure student work is marked and data is retained and processed
- Creating and circulating a student survey
- Inputting data related to accreditation
- Planning/arranging an event
- Working with others across the Faculty to improve administrative processes
The role would suit a proactive candidate with administrative experience, ideally in higher education though training will be provided. A good eye for detail, ability to work independently or as part of a team, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to use and learn IT systems are essential.
