We are looking to recruit a CDT administrator for an EPSRC-funded Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Cambridge. This exciting role will support the development and delivery of the CDT programmes to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the course(s).

  • Develop and maintain office procedures to administer student records and information.
  • Co‐ordinate and update course documentation, maintain and update the course website as required.
  • Deal with enquiries from current and prospective students, process student applications, liaise with the university admissions office, input information into the Safeboti student information system and monitor progress.
  • Provide administration support to the Director and research group, act as secretary to committees, arrange and take minutes at meetings, book venues, accommodation, travel and transport arrangements.

Training and experience: The successful candidate will be educated to HND level or have the equivalent level of practical experience. They must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to deal with a wide range of people at all levels, demonstrate excellent organisational and IT skills, and have experience in course administration within Higher Education.

The role is suitable for a minimum of 25 hours per week, up to full time. Days and hours to be worked will be negotiable on appointment if part time is preferred. Some events may require evening or weekend participation.
