The Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre (JCBC) is a £94M, 18000M2 state of the art research building on the Biomedical Campus. The building houses up to 650 staff from three different Departments/Institutes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination and line management of the core building service team (Goods in, Service Technicians & Glass wash/media preparation).
  • Acting as point of contact for all BST enquiries
  • Coordinating organisation and effective delivery of services to building occupants.
  • Procurement of goods.
  • Contractor liaison & scheduling visits.
  • Organising data and records and providing building wide communications.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for this role. Applicants should be educated to degree level or an equivalent level of practical experience, relevant to coordinating building facilities. Previous experience of building and health and safety is essential, and a working knowledge of laboratory and research facilities is also preferred. The successful candidate will also have experience of managing staff. This position is fast paced and requires excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach.
