Our size enables us to foster a very personalised, supportive, inclusive and collaborative environment, with lots of opportunity for development, something which we are very proud of.

The Corporate and Professional Services departments are the cornerstone of the University. They each provide essential and valuable support to both each other and the Academic departments, helping the University to function in the most efficient and productive way, ensuring that the students’ experience is second to none.

The University of Buckingham is seeking an experienced and motivated Disability and Inclusivity Team Leader to lead our Disability Support Team within the newly developed Wellbeing Hub. The post-holder will assess individual needs, coordinate reasonable adjustments, and provide specialist guidance to students, academic staff and professional colleagues across the University.

They will also play a key strategic role in promoting accessibility, inclusivity and compliance with the Equality Act 2010, while driving service improvement and supporting wider equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives. As a team leader, the post-holder will provide line management for the Disability Team, oversee service delivery, and shape the development of a proactive, supportive and student-focused disability service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong professional expertise, excellent communication skills and a commitment to removing barriers in higher education. We know that sometimes people can be put off applying for a job if they think they can’t tick every box, but we are invested in our people and their development, so we encourage you to apply if you believe you have the majority of the skills and experience required and are keen to develop further!
