The Corporate and Professional Services departments are the cornerstone of the University. They each provide essential and valuable support to both each other and the Academic departments, helping the University to function in the most efficient and productive way, ensuring that the students' experience is second to none. We have an exciting vacancy for a HR Operations Manager to join our Human Resources team at the heart of our University.
This role will develop a new position that is a key contributor to the delivery of core HR services across the entire employee lifecycle, and lead change, coordinate HR projects. The postholder will take the lead on system and data reporting (such as HESA reporting and Gender Pay Gap reports), policy governance and strategy compliance. They will also line manage our small HR Administration team and act as a mentor to other colleagues, sharing knowledge and experience to build a robust and cohesive unit.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver core HR services across the employee lifecycle.
- Lead change initiatives and coordinate HR projects.
- Ensure system and data reporting (HESA reporting, Gender Pay Gap reports).
- Govern policy and strategy compliance.
- Line manage the HR Administration team and mentor colleagues.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Challenge and support colleagues, identifying solutions to complex and sensitive scenarios.
- Analyse and interrogate data, maintaining attention to detail.
