A senior level role within the Human Resources team, supporting line managers across the university with employee lifecycle activities including casework, recruitment, learning and development, and data analysis. The postholder will lead or support complex casework, provide enhanced senior stakeholder support, and line manage a small team of HR Business Partners, acting as a mentor to strengthen the unit. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders are essential, as is a high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Support line managers with all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Handle recruitment, learning and development, data analysis, and casework
  • Lead or support on more complex casework and provide enhanced senior stakeholder support
  • Line manage a small team of HR Business Partners
  • Act as a mentor to team members to share knowledge and experience

Hours & Location

Full time (35 hours per week). Hybrid minimum 4 days on campus.

Salary & Band
