The Senior Marketing Officer will work closely with digital marketing, current students, content and creative teams, and other marketing colleagues to develop plans and deliver content that aligns with the wider marketing strategy. The goal is to ensure engaging content and interactions with our followers, supporting social media practitioners across the University. The role involves increasing visibility and engagement, maintaining a strong social and digital presence, promoting the University’s strengths, and showcasing the student experience to meet recruitment and reputation KPIs. What will you be doing? Lead the delivery and design of impactful global social media campaigns. Oversee organic and paid boosting setup. Provide training and support to nearly 500 accounts managed by various teams. With the Marketing Manager, oversee audience insights, platform reviews, and reporting to optimize channel performance. Support the development of the University’s social media strategy, policies, and guidelines. Develop rapid response social media content, especially for incident management communications. Provide line management to the Social Media Officer. Experience with major social media platforms, data-led strategic planning, and colleague upskilling is essential.
