Job Description:
The University of Bristol has funding for a dementia-themed NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer (ACL) post for a trainee in neurology. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a post-doctoral academic trainee to develop a successful career in neurology within a supportive environment.
What will you be doing?
This post provides an opportunity for a post-doctoral academic trainee in neurology with potential to develop into an independent researcher and educator. The lectureship offers up to four years of full-time equivalent post-doctoral training or until CCT is reached, depending on prior experience and career trajectory. The position can be full-time or part-time.
You should apply if you have completed core training or are eligible for higher specialist training in the relevant specialty in the UK at ST3 level or above. The post is suitable for those who have completed a research doctorate (MD/PhD) or equivalent and demonstrate outstanding potential for a career in academic medicine.
