The role involves appointing an outstanding academic in the area of cognitive neuroscience to join a vibrant and research-intensive school. The post will sit in the newly created School of Psychology and Neuroscience (name TBC). Candidates must have an excellent track record of publishing and grant capture and a background in relevant teaching in higher education.

Hybrid working: Our programmes are taught in person and on campus, and you would be expected to be on campus for all student-facing activities. Typically, staff in the school are on campus 3 days a week, but this varies substantially; we normally expect a minimum of one day on campus per week.
What will you be doing?
- Publishing high quality research in international journals.
- Submitting grants to develop your research programme and support a research team (including postgraduate research students and researchers).
- Making a positive contribution to research culture in the School and the University and maximising the impact of your research with external partners.
- Teaching across postgraduate and undergraduate programmes, including developing and organising units, assessment setting and marking, and student supervision (both research projects and personal tutoring).
- Having a school administrative role commensurate with your pathway and level and contributing positively to our community and running of the school.
