As an Unqualified Supply Teacher, you'll step in when a teacher is absent. You're not expected to teach new content. Your role is to lead, guide and manage the classroom. While you will cover a range of subjects, schools like to place you according to your subject specialism so you can apply your degree, but be aware that this is not a Teaching role - this is a classroom management role, so specialist subject knowledge is not required.
