Bristol Anatomy invites applications for the position of Medical/Human Anatomy Teaching Associates (Demonstrators) from registered medical, dental or allied health practitioners. This part-time post is offered on a fixed-term contract for ten months (Sept-June). There are no clinical duties associated with this post, but it is anticipated that this post will allow successful candidates to maintain some clinical or other commitments.
Main duties of the job include:
- Teaching human anatomy to medical, dental and science students, including assessment and the preparation and maintenance of physical and digital teaching aids.
- Involvement in teaching on external anatomy courses to allied healthcare professionals (undergraduate/postgraduate).

It comprises nine Schools: Anatomy; Biochemistry; Biological Sciences; Cellular and Molecular Medicine; Bristol Dental School; Bristol Medical School; Physiology, Pharmacology and Neuroscience; Psychological Science; and Bristol Veterinary School.
Job responsibilities: You are seeking to increase your skills in anatomy and gain experience in medical education, and are a registered medical, dental or allied health practitioner. We would like the successful candidate to start with the School on Tuesday 1st September 2026. Interview date is Tuesday, 24th March 2026. Please note that all interviews for this position will take place in person, and online interviews will not be available.
