As part of the expansion of Bristol Cyber Security Group, we wish to hire an outstanding candidate to fill an open-ended faculty position at Lecturer level in Software Security or Systems Security.

The main purpose of the job is to carry out excellent and innovative Research and Teaching to support our Undergraduate, Postgraduate and CDT programmes in the area of cyber security, particularly software security or systems security, and to contribute to the research activities of the Cyber Security group, in addition to being an active and effective citizen of the department, school and faculty.

You should apply if:

  • Experience of teaching at university level and the ability to undertake teaching in cyber security covering a broad range of topics especially software security or systems security.
  • A proven research record in software security or systems security, complementing the School’s current activities especially those in the Bristol Cyber Security Group.
