The Centre for Academic Language and Development at the University of Bristol is seeking an EAP Coordinator to support and enhance the use of digital learning across our teaching provisions and contribute to the Centre’s teaching activity in English for Academic Purposes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a wide range of colleagues across disciplines and contexts.
- Move flexibly between our International Foundation Programme, in‑sessional, and pre‑sessional provision.
- Work with a newly established digital education group.
- Design innovative digital learning opportunities for curriculum and staff development.
- Apply expertise in English for Academic Purposes to inform discussions about the role of artificial intelligence in learning and teaching contexts.
- Line‑manage a range of individuals, prioritising developmental line management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Enthusiasm for developing the digital education aspect of our provision.
- Good knowledge of academic discourse, disciplines, and contexts.
- Experience in digital learning.
- Ability to develop new perspectives and approaches.
- Comfortable working autonomously within a team.
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage multiple activities.
- Excellent communication and networking with a variety of individuals.
- Experience in line management, feedback, and reflexivity.
Contract and Working Pattern
