We are seeking a Premises Assistant to help us ensure that the school sites are clean, secure and safe for all users.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the general care, maintenance and servicing of academy buildings and grounds
- Working within current health and safety legislation
- Providing a customer-facing / positive service
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe, hygienic and secure site
- Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning: DIY, painting & decorating, general garden maintenance etc
- Experience of maintaining health & safety in a workplace
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Full clean driving licence with access to own transport
- The ability to work as part of our team and independently
- Commitment to safeguarding
Salary and benefits
- Actual starting salary: £25,583 per annum
- Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
- Automatic annual pay increments: Pay progression is not linked to performance and all our staff benefit from automatic pay progression (subject to the maximum salary for the role).
- Cost of living awards are also reviewed annually.
- Generous Pension: Employer contribution rate of 22.7%.
