Join our Careers and Employability team to help students find part‑time paid jobs and work experience. At the University of Brighton, we have the Student Jobs Hub service which focuses on supporting students to find and secure part‑time paid opportunities that will meet their needs to earn some additional income whilst allowing them to remain focused on their studies.

We are looking for someone proactive, approachable and with great organisational skills who can project manage our Student Jobs Hub for a fixed term to cover maternity leave. As our Student Jobs Hub Manager you will work as part of the Careers and Employability team at the University but will also be engaging with colleagues in our People Department, Marketing and Communications and Information Services.

The Successful Candidate Will Be:

  • Confident communicating with a range of stakeholders both within the university and in the local community
  • Able to work with students to support them in securing part‑time roles
  • Someone who can work with local employers to encourage and support them to promote their opportunities with us

The role is for a fixed term of initially 6 months (37 hours per week) as maternity cover with a high likelihood of extension and the focus being on project development and maintaining a successful service for all stakeholders.
