This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving university and enhance its Estates & Facilities Management Team (EFM). You will support a community of over 18,000 students and 2,300 staff across Brighton campuses, providing a secure environment that fosters safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the security control room and monitor the CCTV network.
- Provide a visible presence and mobile response across all campuses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Use proactive and responsive security methods to deliver a comprehensive service that goes beyond traditional security standards and focuses on customer service.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Professional resilience and the ability to deliver excellent service in challenging and complex circumstances.
- Team-player attitude that embraces diversity and inclusivity.
- Security experience or qualifications is preferred but not essential; university support for completing SIA (Security Industry Authority) training is provided.
