Contract: 9-12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
Working Pattern: Term time only (39 weeks)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 745am-3pm Monday–Friday
Actual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata): £18,276 per annum

Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Teaching Assistant, to join us. In a mainly classroom based role, you will work with colleagues to support an individual in their core learning including: reading, writing, and mathematics. You will also provide support in the playground encouraging the children\’s development of positive social friendships and play skills.

You will have:

  1. Experience of establishing positive relationships with young children and the ability to empathise with their needs
  2. A strong commitment to supporting children\’s learning
  3. A patient, resourceful, enthusiastic and flexible approach
  4. Experience of working with/caring for children, have your own children, or have worked with children in a voluntary capacity
  5. A keen interest in outdoor learning and making activities engaging and accessible to all

Do you have the enthusiasm to help with the safe running of our Breakfast Club and provide a safe and stimulating environment for our pupils?

We are looking for a Breakfast Club Assistant, who will actively and enthusiastically assist with the running of the Breakfast Club. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing a high-quality level of activities whilst offering appropriate stimulation and support to the children
  2. Preparing, serving and tidying away at the end of the meal
  3. Ensuring that the club is a safe environment for children; all equipment is safe to use and very high standards of hygiene are consistently maintained

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, and a calm, positive and flexible approach.
