Do you have a passion for Art and the ability to lead? We are seeking a creative and inspirational Head of Art to lead and develop a vibrant Art Department. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of Art, driving high-quality teaching and learning, and supporting colleagues to deliver an engaging, inclusive and ambitious curriculum. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will use assessment and evidence-informed practice to raise achievement, shape curriculum planning, and ensure strong progression for students of all abilities. You will lead and develop staff through coaching and professional development, monitor standards across the department, and manage resources effectively to support outstanding creative outcomes for our students.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on raising standards of teaching, learning, and achievement in the subject.
