Working pattern: Term time plus inset days, plus 5 days (40 weeks)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Actual starting salary (calculated pro rata): £26,023 per annum. Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.

We are seeking to appoint someone who has a calm demeanour, is highly organised and reliable, and has strong IT literacy as an Exams Officer. No prior experience in the role is required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
This is a pivotal role within the school, ensuring that all internal and external examinations are planned, administered and conducted in line with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, students and external agencies to ensure that examination processes run smoothly and fairly for all learners.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and a confident, professional approach to communication. You will support the coordination of exam entries, timetables, access arrangements, working with invigilators, exam-day logistics and results processes, playing a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination system and supporting student success.
