Faculty

Physiotherapy is in the School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery. This vibrant and dynamic school has a focus on excellent education and research informed practice. Physiotherapy has a long history at Bradford and has been at the forefront of delivering a successful University Clinic and First Contact Practitioner education. We work in close collaboration with partners in the NHS, private and voluntary sectors to provide students with exceptional placement experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervising and assessing students within our student led physiotherapy clinic
  • Teaching on our pre-registration programmes (mainly seminar and practical classes)
  • Contributing to assessment of student work including clinical capability.
  • Developing learning resources
  • Acting as link tutor to students on placement
  • Acting as a personal academic tutor to undergraduate students

Qualifications/ experience:

  • HCPC registered physiotherapist is essential
  • Current or recent experience of MSK clinical practice
  • Experience of teaching and assessing students in practice-based or education settings.
  • Experience of supporting individual from diverse backgrounds and with diverse learning needs
